Tulips

"Some History Of The Tulip"
Discovered some 400 years ago in Turkey and Asia, it wasn't until the 16th century that the first tulip bulbs were planted in Holland. Soon "Tulip-mania" followed, a period of lively trading of the bulb which for some time was considered an investment. Through years the Dutch have successfully cultivated a large range of species and cultivars with flowers of all shapes, sizes, colors, and fragrances.
