So what is happening in:           

Physical Science Chemistry Physics

 

CLASSROOM PROCEDURES:

 

•  You are Responsible for your Own Learning.  YOU MUST read the chapters, complete the reading worksheet, learn the vocabulary, take Good notes, and complete the chapter review worksheets- Combined the all EQUAL the TEST.

•  COOPERATION + POSITIVE ATTITUDE + EFFORT = GOOD GRADES

•  Enter the room quietly, be seated, have need supplies – Be Prepare to work.  I WILL!  Please STOP talking when the bell rings.  The bell signals the beginning of class.  If you are NOT SEATED when the bell rings you are TARDY.  Please work while I take role and handle other things, NO TALKING AFTER THE BELL RINGS.

•  Discipline should NOT be a problem, YOU should know how to ACT, and are EXPECTED to ACT accordingly.  Disrespect WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.  Keep your hands to yourself.  Discipline problems disrupt the learning of other students.  (See disciplinary chart in classroom)

•  No food or drinks are allowed in this classroom

•  Do not put away work early.  No other class work or magazines will be read in this room.  We only have 50 minutes and that time is science time.  Stay seated UNTIL the bell rings. 

•  All assignments are due on the due date at the beginning of the hour.  NO LATE WORK OR INCOMPLETE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.  If you do not take the time to complete the work, I will not grade it.  Make sure you have all your work complete before an activity.  Activities or Trips are NOT Absences.

•  If absent it is the student’s responsibility to make-up missed work.  Missed work needs to be made up as soon as possible.  SEE ME after you has been absent to set up a schedule for make-up work, But NOT during CLASS.

•  EXTRA HELP is available everyday BEFORE SCHOOL 7:30- 7:45 and AFTER SCHOOL 3:10- 3:30 or set up a time with me.

•  PLEASE DO NOT STORE papers in your textbook they will Break the Binding.

•  Everyday in this classroom is 2 point or 10 points per normal week. 

•  Please bring the following items everyday:  3 ring notebook with paper, pencils and/or pens, and textbook.

 

GRADES:

The following grade scale will be used for all work.

REMEMBER NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED, BE RESPONSIBLE.

 

94 – 100          A

86 – 93            B

76– 85             C

70– 75             D

Below 69         F
