Junior High and High School students participate in a Leadership Retreat led by Father Mike Scully, Minister Provincial of the Capuchin Province of Mid-America. Father Scully demonstrated how current rock music and film hits can challenge young people to interpret the music they are listening to and the films they are watching in light of the Gospel and, in turn, develop leaders in our schools and communities. Father Scully also presented "Ten Things Every Parent should Know About Their Teenager," at an evening presentation for parents which offered a unique and invaluable insight for parents when working with their teenagers.

 

Michele Gerber, St. John's Lead Religion Teacher, is shown with Harold Hill and Pat Ford, St. John's alumni and donors to the religious education program. The donation, made in memory of their mother, Marjorie Hill, will be used for student mission trips, community service activities and religious education training for teachers. Thank you!
