Integral to any religious education is instilling in students the importance of putting their faith into action. Toward this end, St. John’s Middle/High School religion classes have a strong service component. A wide range of service projects throughout the year help them learn the value of making their faith a part of their daily lives.

The students of St. John's Catholic participated in SJ day. This was a project where the students took time to give back to and help their community.

The students of St. John's Catholic High School have started "Pass the Buck Breakfast." Pass the Buck Breakfast is a fundraiser in which the students of the chosen organization or class bring baked items to sell to the student body. The money raised is then donated to a specific person or purpose.
