Prophetic
Conference: Rick and Pat Piersee
are hosting a Prophetic Conference with Gene Bacon and several
others on Friday and Saturday, November 6th and 7th.
Mom's in Touch
- ARISE! CRY OUT!
Women around the world will
be pouring our their hearts to the Lord for the lives of
children in our community and around the world. Join us on
Saturday, November 14th at the First Christian Church, Beloit.
Time is 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Youth
Convention: Will be help in
Wichita on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13th and 14th.
Sharon Thomas:
Join us Sunday November 15th to hear
Sharon Thomas bring us up to date on the work being done in
Chicago. They work with the homeless. They fill
individual gallon bags with the items that are needed. If you
would like to be a part of this, the following items are needed.
Toothpaste, tooth brush, bar soap, deodorant, hand lotion, hand
sanitizer, small pack of tissues. (Please NO mouthwash,
perfume, cologne, razors or aftershave.) You can being
them to New Life by Nov. 15 and Sharon will take them back with
her to show in a practical way Christ's love for hurting
souls.
Baby Shower:
Join us for a baby shower for Kellie
Anderson. It will be Sunday, November 15th at 2 p.m. at the
church. She is registered at Wal-mart, Target, J.C.
Penney's and Kohl's.
Vision Team
Meeting: The vision team will be
meeting at 5:00 p.m, Sunday Nov. 8th at the church.
Men's
Breakfast and Fellowship: Men,
if you would like to have some fellowship, meet at the Banner,
Tuesday mornings at 7:00 a.m.
Bible Study:
Carol Cordel will be leading a ladies Bible
study starting Tuesday, Oct. 13th at 7:30 p.m. at her home. The
study will be "A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent" by Beth Moore.
The work book need to be ordered ahead of time. The study will
last for 7 weeks.
Bible Study:
Non-denominational small group called "Divorce
Care". Initial meeting Wednesday, October 7th from 6:30 - 7:30
p.m. in the basement of the Christian church. contact Lisa Cordel
for more information.
Food Pantry:
Items needed for the Pantry are, canned beans, canned
fish, cereal, condensed/evaporated milk, juice, macaroni and cheese,
mustard, jelly, cookies, ketchup and rice.
