Web Basics 101
A course of study designed to help people to gain a better
understanding and working knowledge of their computer. To help them become familiar
with the applications most used in accessing the Internet; and to help them to understand
and apply the basic skills needed to successfully utilize the Internet to it's potential.
Class size is limited to 14 people per session, minimum
of 5.
Web Page Authoring 101
A course of
study designed to help people to gain a better understanding and working knowledge of
creating web pages with HTML, using ASCII and WYSIWYG editors. Topics covered:
 | History and definition of HTML

 | Overview of HTML concepts

 | Discussion of major HTML editing
programs |
 | In depth discussion and hands on
use of Front Page Express |
 | Creation of personal web page

 | In depth discussion of FTP, and
hands on use of an FTP program |
 | Posting of Personal Web Page on
your local server |

Introduction to 95/98
A course of study designed to help
people to gain a better understanding and working knowledge of working with Windows 95
and/or Windows 98 and their computer. To help them understand and apply the basic
skills needed to successfully utilize Windows 95/98 to it's potential.
